New update request for my friend: Prayers please for Sydney Miller's right eye issues. Things have been slowly improving and she is infection free, but she received a call from a doctor that was reviewing her eye scans from earlier this past week and there's a chance her retina is trying to detach. So she has to follow a strict protocol this weekend and go to Co Springs on Monday to see if they can repair it.
Please continue to pray for wisdom and healing! She stated she has certainly felt all the prayers and so very grateful for them. ️

We asked for prayer several weeks ago about an severe eye infection of her cornea and loss of sight. Update on my friend Sydney's eye:
1. The infection is completely gone and the scratch is completely healed over!
2. With a prescription hard lens contact, she will be able to see well enough to meet/exceed the requirement for being able to drive!
She'll be fitted for that lens next week - which means she should be able to start driving in about 2 weeks.
Praise the Lord for so many answers to prayer all at once! Thank you for your prayers!

I have two close friends, Alex and Amanda, struggling with legal immigration as legislation makes the entire process more difficult. Both have been stuck in limbo for months while they wait for employment authorization to process. Alex is on the brink of giving up and going home to Canada. Amanda can’t return home to Ukraine safely while war and persecution threatens Christians there. Please pray that God’s hand would be on the process to get them this essential authorization and financial support so they can take their first steps toward permanent status here in the US!

Pray for my family. We have been under spiritual attack for over 2 years. My husband and I over 60, so we moved here to be with my adult son, at his request. He had a good job and future at one of the refineries, he had a good home, in a good neighborhood. A girl he dated got mad at him and accused him of r*pe. We were home at the time of the supposed incident. My son was arrested and convicted: convinced to take a plea deal. First-time offender and the judge slapped him with the hardest time. My son is 42. They transferred him to MS and I haven't seen him since it happened. My heart is broken. I KNOW he didn't do this. EVERYONE that knows him knows he didn't do it. She was trying to blackmail him for money and he refused. Now, we've lost our home, our other 2 children (my husband's) won't even speak to us, so we've lost them and our grandkids.
I have PTSD now due to all that happened. I text my son every day, but I haven't been able to have a phone call since March. They won't fix his pin #. Just pray for us. I am so worried and so tired. I know God has us. I want my son home. I NEED him home. He is a child of God. I KNOW that. But, this is hard. Please, don't call me. I don't need phone calls. I need prayer. I have people to talk to. I just want prayers for us all.

Please pray for Jim Reinhardt. Will just got off phone in tears bc it was first time he was able to talk to his brother after surgery. Jim’s pain is so unbearable he cries out. He had hiatal surgery bc he couldn’t breathe. Now pain is even worse. Jim is not saved although very knowledgeable about the Bible. We do not know whether family is saved. They live in Florida and haven’t seen them for almost a decade other than phone calls.

Hello, we are Paul and Tania Steer from Comayagua, Honduras. We have served the Lord in the mission field for 16 years. By God's grace, we have raised up leadership in different communities. We work hard on two university campuses, reaching young people. Please pray that we can connect some of these young people with our church. Many have confessed Jesus, but only two have taken steps to follow Him.
Please pray for our children's ministry. Seventy boys come to our mountain camp every Friday and Saturday. They are led to Jesus through their relationships with our children, who teach them soccer and use the sport to share the gospel.
Please also pray for our network of girls and boys. We have three more classes with 60 children of various ages. Please pray that we can continue working with them.
Pray for Tania's health. She has severe pain in her hip that radiates up her spine to her neck and head, forcing her to stay in bed all day. She is currently resting and receiving medical treatment, and in 10 days she will need to be fully re-evaluated to assess any progress. In addition to this, Tania has a persistent, intermittent pain in her uterus. It is severe, and surgery is being considered.
Please pray for me (Paul). I have neck surgery in 12 days. A month ago, I had the tests done to be cleared for the operation. My blood sugar was almost diabetic, and my liver was inflamed. Please pray that we will have favor with the doctors and that we will have the funds for this operation. We don't have health insurance, so this surgery and the medical treatment will be quite an adventure, driven by faith.
Please also pray for the women's mountain conference we will be having in October. We expect 70 women and are raising $2,600 for food for the three days of the conference. Women play a key role in relationships with men in the mountains; approaching them is gaining ground with men. Please help us pray for the team leaders who will be helping at this conference.

Here we are... almost a year to the day since we first traveled to Denver for a second opinion on Eli's spine.
What a year it has been.
His first surgery was scheduled for December, but because he was vomiting every single day, we made the difficult decision to postpone. Then, when April came, he developed a severe respiratory illness, and surgery had to be delayed once again.
This past year has put this kid through so much. MRIs, CT scans, sleep studies, swallow studies, three GJ tube procedures (including two failed attempts), sedation after sedation, test after test... and through it all, he has continued to smile, fight, and amaze us.
Today, after many conversations with pulmonology and the rest of Eli's incredible medical team, we finally have our answer. Next week, Eli will head back to Denver for spinal surgery.
This is a very high-risk surgery, and we don't take that lightly. But despite everything we've tried, the vomiting hasn't stopped. In fact, it has only gotten worse. His team truly believes that moving forward with surgery is the best path and is hopeful that straightening his spine will relieve the pressure causing so many of these issues and greatly improve his quality of life.
If you've been walking this journey with us, you're probably just as ready as we are to see our sweet boy finally get some relief. We've prayed, we've waited, we've faced setback after setback, and now it's finally time to take this next step.
Eli has been such a trooper through it all. We are in awe of his strength, his resilience, and the joy he continues to have despite everything that has been stacked against him. We couldn't be more proud to be his parents.
As we prepare for this next chapter, we would be so grateful for your prayers. Please pray for Eli, for the surgeons and every member of his medical team, and for us as we walk beside him through this. Pray for wisdom, steady hands, protection during surgery, healing, and a smooth recovery. Please also pray against infection, as that is one of the greatest risks for medically complex children like Eli.
Most of all, pray that this surgery gives our sweet boy the quality of life he deserves—that the vomiting finally ends, that his body can heal, and that he can simply feel better.
If anyone can teach us what courage looks like, it's this little boy.
We love you beyond words, Eli. Now let's go get you the quality of life you deserve.

I'm in a really hard place with one of my jobs right now. I have not been working at this company very long, but I realized very quickly that it is not exactly what I thought it would be. The culture is difficult to be around as a Christian. I am not sure how long to stay at this job or where to go after this. In my current season of life, I need to work multiple jobs, but this job is by far the hardest. I am anxious constantly, both while working and even when I simply think of going to work. Please pray for wisdom in how to handle this job, and what I need to do. Please pray that I will know whether to keep this job or not and that I can find the right job for this season of my life.

My husband was recently let go from his job after his company consolidated and eliminated his position. This was of course a huge surprise to us both and has left us reeling a bit. Yet we know the Lord was not surprised.
Please pray specifically that:
- I would be an encouragement to him. That I would point my husband back to the Lord. I would be a good helpmate and my trust would not be in man but in the Lord. Pray too that I would not be tempted to fear. I am an anxious person already and I don’t want my tendency to worry overwhelm him and cause more stress.
- please pray for peace. Specifically that my husband would find rest in the Lord. That he wouldn’t be tempted to feel shame but rather that he would remember WHO God is and who he is in Christ. Pray that he would press into the Lord when he feels fearful or overwhelmed.
- please pray for a job. Please pray that my husband would find just the right position and that it would replace income equivalently if not more than his old job. Pray that the job he gets would bring joy to him and would allow my husband to display his talents and all of the wonderful gifts God has given him.
- pray that we would both be excellent witnesses to our children. Pray that we would suffer well and show them that trials happen, unexpected things come up, but in the storm we know the God we serve. Pray they would see what it means to trust in the Lord and what to do when fear and worry inevitably overwhelm you. Pray that through this we can show them God is sovereign, faithful, and that the same God that was with the Israelites all the 40 years in the wilderness, never leaving them, is the same God we serve today. Because of him they lacked nothing. And today we lack nothing.

Please pray for my friend who is a 10 yr breast cancer survivor and was just diagnosed again, please pray for clarity as she is going through the grief all over again, and there is confusion on what type of treatment she needs. Pray the doctors can give her clarity and the Lord to comfort her.

I have been working remote to care for my ailing mother. Last week received email I am expected to return to office.
Prayer for meeting with management and that they will have compassion and be open to me working part time at home.

My little brother has been in remission from acute lymphoblastic leukemia for 5 years, he recently had a cancer scare that after prayer was completely clear at the cellular level. This past week hes had similar symptoms to when he was originally diagnosed 6 years ago with bone pain/shooting pains from the pelvis to the legs, and night sweats. He had just recently went public with his healing testimony and thats when he had his initial scare a month and half ago. He and his wife recently found out they are pregnant and they are stressed about these recent pains and symptoms.

Please pray for my son Hunter. He is going for a job interview as a wildland firefighter on Monday in Columbus. This is the second year he has tried to get a job as a wildland firefighter. He has a degree in fire science and is a volunteer firefighter. There are four positions but eight applicants.
He is an incredible young man who has worked for his church since high school. He has been an amazing help to me since his father left over ten years ago. I pray it is time for him to follow his dreams to become a wildland firefighter.

I want to submit a prayer request for Pastor Paul and his wife Tania of Cutratcho Missions in Honduras. Pastor Paul is guiding his small team using the book of Acts as a field manual. However, currently, they are surviving not thriving. God is moving mightily but at a cost. Please pray for guidance and protection over the mission and strength to carry on. spine and the chemo is not working as they had hoped and needed before they can do a stem cell transplant.
