Paul Geaffri Steer Perez

Hello, we are Paul and Tania Steer from Comayagua, Honduras. We have served the Lord in the mission field for 16 years. By God's grace, we have raised up leadership in different communities. We work hard on two university campuses, reaching young people. Please pray that we can connect some of these young people with our church. Many have confessed Jesus, but only two have taken steps to follow Him.

Please pray for our children's ministry. Seventy boys come to our mountain camp every Friday and Saturday. They are led to Jesus through their relationships with our children, who teach them soccer and use the sport to share the gospel.

Please also pray for our network of girls and boys. We have three more classes with 60 children of various ages. Please pray that we can continue working with them.

Pray for Tania's health. She has severe pain in her hip that radiates up her spine to her neck and head, forcing her to stay in bed all day. She is currently resting and receiving medical treatment, and in 10 days she will need to be fully re-evaluated to assess any progress. In addition to this, Tania has a persistent, intermittent pain in her uterus. It is severe, and surgery is being considered.

Please pray for me (Paul). I have neck surgery in 12 days. A month ago, I had the tests done to be cleared for the operation. My blood sugar was almost diabetic, and my liver was inflamed. Please pray that we will have favor with the doctors and that we will have the funds for this operation. We don't have health insurance, so this surgery and the medical treatment will be quite an adventure, driven by faith.

Please also pray for the women's mountain conference we will be having in October. We expect 70 women and are raising $2,600 for food for the three days of the conference. Women play a key role in relationships with men in the mountains; approaching them is gaining ground with men. Please help us pray for the team leaders who will be helping at this conference.
